“What’s up?! My name is Matt Snavely, I I grew up in Lansing Michigan, and I am pursuing a degree in business administration. I have become a huge fan of this university because of the genuine people and the love we share for Jesus. The students here operate more like a family and I am super stoked to further build this awesome community. Fun fact about me is I have never competed in the Winter Olympics.”
Hey! My name is Niki Foster and I’m a Youth Ministry Major from Quartzsite, Arizona. When I was a sophomore in high school, I took a tour around ACU and it immediately felt like I was exactly where I needed to be. From the very beginning, ACU has exceeded in building a community that is focused on Christ. My favorite thing about this school is that God is so evident on campus, in students, and professors. It is such a joy to be able to serve the Lord alongside my peers and those who work for ACU, which is definitely something that sets us apart from other colleges and universities. I am so excited to be able to get to know all of the incoming students, especially by serving a handful of them on the third floor of the Res Hall, and show them how special ACU is! I cannot wait for the jokes, memories, and God-honoring conversations we will have this school year!
Hey there! My name is Emily (my friends call me Emily) and I am senior studying biology and music at ACU. My favorite things are God, people, and food! I also enjoy recycling bottles and cans, watching movies, and working out (residual hobby from my athletic softball days). ACU provides a completely unique opportunity for every student to follow Jesus alongside other Christians. My favorite part is we get to be a part of what God’s doing here! I am stoked to learn and grow in the love of Christ with the 2nd floor ladies this year as their RA!
Hello, my name is Tessa Williams and I an elementary education major with an emphasis in early childhood. I am most excited for this next year to meet all of the freshman ladies on the third floor and how God works in all of their lives! I am from Anthem, Arizona and play on the women’s soccer team here at ACU. A fun fact about me is that my favorite thing in the whole world is my dog named Baby and I promise you will hear me talk about him a lot.
My name is Daniel Schembri and I am a currently a senior pursuing a degree in Christian Leadership with a Pastoral Emphasis and I am also on the football team. I am super excited to be able to help grow the unity of the body of Christ on the first floor as an RA and throughout the campus. At ACU, I love how the community enables us to immensely grow our relationships with Christ and other believers. I grew up right here in Phoenix, AZ and went to Scottsdale Christian Academy as a kid, which is only a few miles away. Things I like to do are hanging out with friends and staying active by playing sports and doing outdoor activities like rock climbing and hiking.
I am so excited to be the first-floor ladies RA this year! It’s going to be so much fun connecting and building relationships with everyone on the hall. ACU is an awesome university to be a part of, I love the focus and emphasis ACU has on both the spiritual and educational growth of the students! A little bit about me; I am a behavioral health major and my hometown is Sacramento, California. Some other interesting facts; when I was 6, one of the baby Budweiser horses ate my hair, and in 2014 on New Years, 4 of my friends and I caused a reported UFO sighting after releasing some lanterns into the night sky. It made the local news the next day. I am so excited grow and learn alongside everyone here at ACU, the 2017/2018 school year is going to be great!
Hi! My name is Isaac Branson, and I am the Third Floor Men’s RA. I am so excited to get to know all the men on my hall and serve them in any way that I can. One of my favorite aspects of ACU is the tight-knit community. A great way to build this community is through life at the Residence Hall! Now a little bit about me. My major is Political Science with an emphasis in Criminal Justice. I am originally a small-town boy from Pine Arizona. And, when I am not at ACU I enjoy various outdoor activities such as backpacking, fishing, and hunting.
As an RA I get the pleasure of helping the freshman dudes adapt to college life, along with that I’m super excited to meet everyone and develop meaningful relationships along the way. I love to surf and rock climb, pretty much anything outdoors. My major is behavior health. I grew up in Vista California, it’s right next to Oceanside but a little inland. I love ACU because it has an incredible community of students who all share a similar love for each other and most importantly for Christ, it’s an amazing atmosphere to grow in.
