Staff and Administration Positions

Graphic and Web Designer

Arizona Christian University is seeking a Graphic and Web Designer. This position is responsible designing university print and digital media and developing, designing, and maintaining the university website.  

Qualifications include a Baccalaureate Degree (preferred) and prior experience in graphic and web design, including proficient knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator, and Word Press. Please click here for a detailed job description and qualifications.

Director of Counseling Services (part-time)

The Director of Counseling Services is responsible for the oversight of the Arizona Christian University Counseling Center (ACUCC) and the supervision of the graduate intern counseling staff. This position provides individual, group, and career counseling for students, staff, and faculty. The Director of Counseling Services assists the Student Development Division with developing protocol for crisis and emergency management, and actively develops campus programs aimed at educating and assisting students, staff, and faculty on mental health and student development issues.

Director of Residence Life

The Director of Residence Life provides leadership and direction for the residence life department. This position is responsible for overseeing the supervision, training and development of professional (one Residence Director) and paraprofessional (eight Resident Assistants) staff as well as educational and social programming efforts for the department. This position will oversee the administration and management of the housing program for the University; direct departmental operations; oversee the department budget; and set goals and establish implementation strategies for the department. Additionally the Director of Residence Life works collaboratively with the Dean of Students, the Resident Director, and other university departments to maintain good communication channels throughout the campus. This position will serve as a liaison for residence life to students, parents, and alumni.

Residence Director

The Residence Director is a 12-month live-in position responsible for providing overall management and leadership in the residence hall. Principal responsibilities include overseeing the supervision, training and development of the paraprofessional building staff (Resident Assistants), as well as programming efforts for the department, residential education, community development, crisis management, student discipline and other departmental/university-wide responsibilities. Additionally, the Residence Director works collaboratively with the Director of Residence Life and other university departments to maintain good communication channels throughout the campus. The Residence Director is provided an apartment within the residence hall and a standard meal plan.

Fall 2018 English Instructor Adjunct

Arizona Christian University is looking to hire adjuncts to teach English Composition 098/101/102, as well as literature survey courses.  Most classes are scheduled for daytime hours on M/W or T/Th in Fall 2018.

Fall 2018 – Adjunct Faculty /Criminal Justice

Arizona Christian University seeks applications from adjunct faculty candidates who are able to teach Criminal Justice courses. Qualified candidates will possess a Master’s degree or above in Criminal Justice Studies, or a college degree in a related field plus five or more years in the law enforcement / criminal justice profession. It is preferable that adjunct faculty candidates are available to teach morning or afternoon classes (MW or TTH), but some evening courses can be offered.

Statistics for Behavioral Studies Adjunct - Evenings

Arizona Christian University seeks applications from qualified candidates to teach Statistics for Behavioral Studies for our EVENING program beginning August 15, 2018. Qualified candidates will possess a Master’s degree or above in a behavioral health discipline. College level teaching experience is preferred.
