Is the Student Portal secure?
Yes, the Student Portal has a number of security features implemented in order to protect your privacy. The portal resides on the ACU secure server, so the data is encrypted. This helps prevent others from "eavesdropping" on your session. Also, the Portal validates your identity on every page. If you log out of your ACU Google account while browsing the Student Portal, you will be required to log back in before viewing another page.
Why does the button take me to a Google login page?
ACU email accounts are provided by Google Apps for Education. In order to log in to MyACU Student Portal, we verify your identity through your Google Apps account. When you sign in, Google sends you back to MyACU, confirming your identity, so we can provide your information securely and privately.
I'm entering my username like normal: firstName.lastName. Why isn't it working?
Make sure to include "@arizonachristian.edu" at the end of your username.
Every time I navigate to a new page within the Student Portal, I am sent to a Google page asking if I want to allow Arizonachristian.edu to access information from my Google Account. How can I turn this off?
When this happens, make sure the Remember this approval checkbox is checked and click Allow. Once you tell Google "Remember this approval," you'll never be asked again.
