Life on Campus

Each semester at ACU is filled with events and ministry opportunities. Whether it is intramurals every Tuesday & Thursday evening, Project 032, open mic nights, Mr. ACU, discipleship groups, or banquets, students are not at a loss for chances to engage the community at ACU. With each event and program we plan, our hope is that you will begin to engage with others in a crazy, fun, comfortable, and healthy way. This is an opportunity for you to begin to foster lifelong friendships.

Throughout the day at ACU you will see students, faculty, and staff interacting with one another. All of the faculty and staff at ACU have a heart for a campus community of authentic relationships that where students have the freedom to grow into Christ-likeness. The minute you step on campus you will feel like you have become a part of our family.

We invite you to come and experience our family for yourself. One of the best ways to experience ACU culture is through one of our Experience admissions events. Contact an admissions advisor to get more information about these events.

About Residence Life at ACU

Moving onto campus for the first time can be both a scary and exciting time in life. Some of you are looking forward to living in community, while others of you are nervous about having a new roommate. Despite the flood of emotions that come with going to college, studies show that students who choose to live on campus are more likely to graduate, more likely to be involved in activities, and report an all-around, more memorable learning experience. Almost half of our students have chosen to live on campus, and they have found that living at ACU has lifelong rewards.

It is our hope that, when you leave the Arizona Christian University community, you would have a healthy understanding of your Christ-given identity. Our Residence Life personnel are committed to creating a safe culture in which you have the freedom and opportunity to ask the hard questions of faith and life, to discover your gifts and talents, and begin to learn to trust Jesus and others with who you are. We intentionally seek to communicate God’s truth in every conversation we have, discipline issue we oversee, program we plan, or meeting we facilitate.

We look forward to having the opportunity to come along side and do life with you here in community at Arizona Christian University.
