Arizona Christian University is pleased to announce the newest addition to Firestorm athletics – a Shotgun Sports team. ACU is set to join the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) and compete year round in the Association of College Unions International (ACUI) Clay Target Tournaments.

The program accommodates both the competitive and beginner shooter and is open to any ACU student on campus, online, and in the evening program. The team will practice at Ben Avery Shooting Range, a world class facility less than a half hour away from campus and compete in local and national competitions.

Gebben Miles, a Professional Sporting Clays Shooter, 3x PSCA Tour Champion, World, and National Champion, said, “I’m very excited for the shooting program at ACU! ACU is a Christ-centered school that will provide student athletes the opportunity to grow in their faith, character, studies and the sport of clay target shooting.”
