Degree Completion Program
The School of Professional and Adult Studies offers a Degree Completion Program (DCP) that includes Bachelor Degrees in Behavioral Health, Business Administration, and Christian Ministries. Continuing Education Unit (CEU) classes are also offered to a variety of professional groups. CEU offering will be posted on this page under “Upcoming Events” when available.
About the Program
The Degree Completion Program (DCP) is designed for working adults who are ready to take the next step in their education. ACU is committed to helping adult students successfully complete their college degree. Whether an adult student joins the DCP to seek a promotion at work, retool for new employment or finish an unrealized goal, ACU offers a one-stop admissions experience and an accelerated class format. Students can complete their degree in as little as 20 months attending class one night a week.
As a prospective student, you can now choose from three exciting degree programs and finish your Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Behavioral Health, or Christian Ministries by enrolling in an accelerated cohort. When you enroll in a cohort, you join a group of classmates within the same degree track. You’ll go through the entire program together from admission to graduation. Cohorts build strong relationships as they encourage each other in working toward the same goal as well as learning from shared experiences and individual perspectives.
Together, you and your classmates (who have similar professional academic goals) will learn essential skills such as collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and problem solving. These are often abilities that employers are looking for. You’ll also gain career-specific knowledge that will help you apply these skills in a way that is unique to your specific employment needs.
The desire to finish what you started years ago is now doable!
