Sports Information Director

Sports Information Director

Arizona Christian University, a member of the Golden State Athletic Conference, NAIA, and NCCAA is seeking to fill the full-time position of Sports Information Director.  

The Sports Information Director will be responsible for compiling and disseminating information regarding Arizona Christian University (ACU) Athletics and serves as a liaison between the sports media and general public for ACU athletics.

This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of http://www.acufirestorm.com web site, production and design layout of ACU athletic publications.  The Sports Information Director will also file weekly statistical reports with NAIA, GSAC, and NCCAA as required.

The preferred candidate will have Bachelor’s Degree or higher with a minimum of 1 – 2 years’ experience in sports journalism and/or sports information.  A solid working knowledge of football, soccer, cross country, volleyball, golf, basketball, baseball, softball, tennis and track and field is a must.  Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Image Editing Software, and Sports Statistical Software including specialized in game packages is required.
