Maintenance Worker II

Arizona Christian University seeks applications for Maintenance Worker II. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction.  A person in this position, under direction of the Director of Facilities will perform semi-skilled to skilled maintenance and repair work on campus buildings and equipment work involving the full spectrum of building and construction trades, such as HVAC, electrical, carpentry, locksmith and plumbing skills. Spring 2015 - English Composition Adjunct

Arizona Christian University seeks applications from adjunct faculty candidates able to teach English Composition courses in the university’s liberal arts core curriculum.  The university also seeks qualified candidates who can teach Composition and Grammar at the remedial level.  We are especially interested in applicants who can teach morning/early afternoon classes (before 1:30 pm).  Qualified candidates will possess a Master’s degree or above in English (or related discipline) and possess teaching experience at the college level.  Faculty are expected to share their Christian faith with students and integrate it into their classes.

Spring 2015 - Journalism Adjunct

Arizona Christian University seeks applications from adjunct faculty candidates for a variety of journalism courses (Introduction to Journalism, Reporting, Public Relations).  We are especially interested in applicants with flexible schedules who can teach morning, afternoon, or evening classes.  Qualified candidates will possess a Master’s degree or above in journalism and possess teaching experience at the college level.  Professional experience is also desirable.  Faculty are expected to share their Christian faith with students and integrate it into their classes.

Spring 2015 - Family Studies Adjunct

The Family Studies program at Arizona Christian University is seeking adjunct faculty applicants for a variety of Family Studies Courses. The position requires a Master’s or a Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Family Studies, or a similar discipline. The ideal candidate will be certified as a Family Life Educator and possess teaching experience at the college level. Faculty are expected to share their Christian faith with students and integrate it into their classes.

Spring 2015 - Geography Adjunct

Spring 2015 semester; Position open for adjunct faculty/instructor to teach one section of GEO 101: Introduction to Geography with 2 lab sections. Position requires availability MWF 10:30-11:20 (lecture) and MW 12:30-1:20 (lab). Master’s degree preferred, or experience in teaching Geography. Ability to integrate technology, specifically iPads, in the classroom also preferred. The course introduces the students to physical geography, with a one-hour lab component.

Spring 2015 - Biology & Science Adjunct

Arizona Christian University seeks applications from adjunct faculty candidates for a variety of biology/science courses (Introductory Biology, Introduction to Science, upper level biology).  We are especially interested in applicants with flexible schedules who can teach morning, afternoon, or evening classes.  Qualified candidates will possess a Master’s degree or above in science/biology and possess teaching experience at the college level.  Instructors should have experience leading laboratory sessions. Faculty are expected to share their Christian faith with students and integrate it into their classes.

The Christian Ministries program, in the School of Professional and Adult Studies at Arizona Christian University is seeking adjunct faculty applicants for a variety of Christian Ministry courses. The position requires a Master’s or a Doctoral degree in Bible, Christian Education or a similar discipline. The ideal candidate will be possess at least 5 years of ministry experience as well as teaching experience at the college level. Faculty are expected to share their Christian faith with students and integrate it into their classes. Classes in this program are for working adults and are taught in a 5-6 week accelerated format in the evening, one night a week from 6-10pm.

Behavioral Health - Adjunct

The Behavioral Health Program, in the division of Professional and Adult Studies at Arizona Christian University is seeking adjunct faculty applicants for a variety of Behavioral Health Courses. The position requires a minimum of a Master’s or Doctorate degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy. Eligible candidates will be licensed by the State of Arizona as a psychologist, social worker, marriage and family therapist, or professional counselor. Ideal candidates will possess teaching experience at the college level. Faculty are expected to share their Christian faith with students and integrate it into their classes. Classes in this program are for working adults and are taught in a 5-6 week accelerated format in the evening, one night a week from 6-10pm.

Public Policy and the Family - Adjunct

The Family Studies and Political Science programs at Arizona Christian University are seeking adjunct faculty applicants to teach a cross-listed course: Public Policy and the Family. The course contributes to the National Council on Family Relations requirements for certification of Family Studies program graduates as Certified Family Life Educators. The position requires a minimum of a Master’s degree and experience in the area of family law and public policy. The ideal candidate will possess teaching experience at the college level. Faculty are expected to share their Christian faith with students and integrate it into their classes.
