ACU seeks an experienced, energetic, innovative Vice President for Institutional Advancement. The vice president will actively oversee all fund raising efforts of the university, and will initiate, develop, implement and assess various institutional fund raising programs and events in support of institutional goals.
Reporting directly to and working closely with the ACU President, the vice president will organize, recruit and train an advancement team and oversee the school’s first capital campaign. The vice president should be an experienced major gift officer with 5-plus years of direct major gift solicitation experience, preferably in Christian higher education. The vice president must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree and be comfortable interacting with the scholarly community.
The vice president must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be highly relational and have the ability to interact with donors and prospects of all ages.
